KSA 70 Pre-Separator
The KSA 70 pre-separator is designed for the pre-separation of metal shavings, cutting fluids, and similar materials directly at the workstation, helping to prevent wear in the ductwork system.
The KSA 70 features a cyclonic inlet with an internal insert that maximizes separation efficiency while providing protection against wear. The outlet is equipped with a mechanical overfill protection system, preventing large quantities of material from being drawn into the pipework.
The balanced bottom discharge flap opens downward and is held closed by the vacuum during normal operation. Installation typically requires a vacuum valve mounted on top of the separator, allowing the unit to be emptied when the workstation is not in use.
