VACUUM BLASTER High-Vacuum Blasting Systems with Integrated Source Extraction

Mobile closed-circuit abrasive blasting systems offering enhanced productivity, high vacuum capacity, and superior separation efficiency for abrasive media recovery and reuse.

High-Vacuum Sandblaster

The Nederman Vacuum Blaster range is suitable for a wide variety of applications and is designed to deliver high vacuum performance and efficient media separation. These units combine pressure vessels, compressed air filters, and pressure regulators to ensure effective operation while maintaining a dust-free working environment.

Why Choose a Mobile Vacuum Blasting Unit?

Abrasive blasting is one of the most effective methods for surface preparation. However, conventional blasting processes can pose significant health and safety risks due to exposure to hazardous dust, excessive noise, and heat.

With vacuum blasting, the entire process takes place in a closed-loop system, preventing dust from being released into the surrounding environment. During operation, the abrasive media is automatically recovered and returned to the unit, where it is cleaned and recycled for reuse, ensuring a cleaner, safer, and more efficient blasting process.

Vacuum Blaster Models Available

Having a professional vacuum blasting unit in your workshop improves both productivity and operator safety, ensuring efficient surface preparation with minimal dust emissions.

To achieve the best results, it is important to select the model that best matches your production requirements.

The Vacuum Blaster range is available in two versions: compressed-air powered (A) and electric (E).

  • Vacuum Blaster 418A / 418E – A high-vacuum blasting unit designed for medium-duty applications, featuring an 18-litre collection container and an 18-litre pre-separator.
  • Vacuum Blaster 460A / 460E – A high-vacuum blasting unit for frequent and heavy-duty applications, equipped with a 60-litre collection container and a 60-litre pre-separator.

Depending on the model, the Vacuum Blaster is supplied as a complete mobile unit mounted on a trolley and equipped with an abrasive separator, hopper with internal screen, filling valve, high-efficiency vacuum generator, and compressed-air filters.

A pneumatic discharge valve located at the bottom of the hopper allows dust to be emptied directly into a collection bag.

The unit is also equipped with a pneumatic automatic filter cleaning system and is supplied with a 10-metre hose complete with blasting and suction nozzle.

The extraction capacity depends on the maximum blasting pressure and the type of abrasive media used. The internal screen prevents larger particles from entering the abrasive recovery container. A range of interchangeable nozzles, designed to suit different shapes and surfaces, ensures effective closed-loop blasting.

Advantages of a Mobile Vacuum Blasting Unit

The Vacuum Blaster offers a combination of mobility, safety, and cost-effectiveness, providing several important benefits:

  • Portable design for easy use indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces where conventional blasting is not permitted.
  • No containment barriers or special protective enclosures required.
  • Improved productivity, with fewer interruptions for abrasive refilling and no post-blasting cleanup of the work area.
  • Abrasive media can be reused multiple times, reducing operating costs.
  • Reduces the need for chemical cleaning agents and rust inhibitors.
  • Compatible with a wide range of approved abrasive materials, including glass beads and walnut shells.
  • The extracted air is filtered and can be safely recirculated into the workplace.
  • Removed material is collected directly into a disposal bag for easy handling.

Choose a solution that brings safety and productivity to your workplace.
