PAK-M DX is a frequency-controlled high vacuum dust collector designed for the extraction of combustible dust generated by grinding and sanding operations, including direct extraction from hand-held tools. It is also suitable for handling granules, grit and metal chips in a wide range of industrial applications.

PAK-M DX ATEX is a compact and energy-efficient high vacuum unit designed for the extraction of organic, metallic and combustible dust.
In addition to dust extraction, PAK-M DX is suitable for workplace cleaning, workshop floor cleaning and direct extraction from production lines. Typical applications include the construction industry, manufacturing facilities, bakeries and other industrial environments. The unit is generally capable of serving 1 to 5 simultaneous extraction points.
Two main versions are available:
PAK-M DX – equipped with an explosion relief panel for the safe venting of explosion pressure and flames.

PAK-M DX Flameless – equipped with a flameless explosion vent, enabling safe indoor installation. Available in dedicated versions for the extraction of organic combustible dust or combustible metal dust.

PAK-M DX automatically controls motor speed using an integrated Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and a differential pressure (dP) sensor to maintain a constant vacuum level selected by the user via the control panel.
The system is ideal for direct tool extraction and is specifically designed to minimize energy consumption, typically reducing energy usage by 50% or more compared to units without frequency control. For applications involving long duct runs, material conveying or industrial cleaning, PAK-M DX can also be configured to deliver maximum available vacuum.
Optional automatic vacuum valves provide additional energy savings by ensuring that extraction is supplied only when a process is running. They can also increase the number of connected workstations when not all extraction points are used simultaneously.
The standard PAK-M DX is supplied with an integrated VFD, while a separate PLC can be added to provide advanced control functions and sensor integration.
Designed for noise-sensitive environments, PAK-M DX incorporates efficient silencers, an acoustic enclosure and intelligent VFD control, allowing the unit to operate at the lowest possible speed while maintaining the required vacuum level.
Two filter configurations are available:
The automatic filter cleaning system operates by opening a dedicated cleaning valve, creating a powerful reverse airflow that effectively removes dust from the filter pockets. Cleaning can be activated on demand based on the dust load detected by the differential pressure sensor, or alternatively via a timer. This intelligent approach minimizes the number of cleaning cycles required, helping extend filter life and maintain consistent performance.
The VAC-M extraction and control unit is also available separately for integration with alternative dust separation systems.
