The best and most cost-effective solution for extracting hazardous airborne contaminants in applications requiring compact, flexible and easy-to-use extraction arms

Key features of the FX2 ESD ATEX extraction arms

The Nederman FX2 ESD antistatic arms are manufactured from lightweight anodised aluminium sections, with two or three adjustable pivot joints and conductive materials.

These flexible, robust and reliable extraction arms are specifically designed for the extraction of gases, fumes and dust in laboratories and in the electronics industry, where there is a risk of electrostatic discharge.

The ESD antistatic and ATEX-approved extraction arms can also be used for certain applications in potentially explosive atmospheres. They are recommended for use in Zones 1, 2 and 21, 22.

Advantages of the FX2 ESD antistatic ATEX extraction arms

  • Provide a safe and quiet working environment thanks to their optimal efficiency and low noise levels
  • Offer maximum installation flexibility: they can be mounted on ceilings, walls, floors or directly onto workbenches
  • Arms with outstanding manoeuvrability: the outer arm joints can swivel and rotate through 360°
  • The slim, smooth and aesthetically refined design allows these arms to integrate easily into any working environment
  • Highly functional products delivering excellent performance while helping to save both time and operating costs

Available models

The FX2 ESD antistatic ATEX extraction arms with aluminium body are available in three different versions with diameters of 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm, each offering different airflow capacities.

The arms are supplied as standard with a mini hood, eliminating the need for an additional extraction nozzle. The mini hood also functions as a universal interface, allowing connection to other extraction hood models manufactured from conductive materials.

When low extraction volumes are required at small workstations, the FX2 ESD antistatic model with 32 mm diameter is also available.

This compact extraction arm:

  • Is manufactured as a single flexible hose in conductive plastic material without pivot joints, offering excellent resistance to solvents
  • Is self-supporting and remains in position once adjusted; it can rotate through 360° and is easy to position without the connection hose to the extraction manifold kinking
  • Is suitable for use in the electronics industry, laboratories, schools and similar environments
  • Can be mounted directly onto the workbench surface (through a bench hole or with an adjustable clamp) or installed on walls and ceilings using optional mounting brackets. A range of extraction hoods is also available as accessories
