Explosion pressure-resistant device designed to prevent the propagation of pressure waves and flames to the upstream sections of the system.
The CARZ explosion isolation backdraft flap valve is designed as an explosion pressure-resistant device capable of preventing the propagation of hazardous explosion effects, such as pressure waves and flames, toward upstream areas.
The internal flap opens through the airflow generated by the fan. In the event of an explosion inside the dust collector, the resulting pressure wave forces the flap to close, after which it is mechanically locked into position by dedicated locking devices.
The wide opening angle ensures low pressure loss, while the closed flap creates an effective explosion barrier, preventing the explosion from propagating to the upstream working areas and therefore helping protect the workplace environment.
