The ATEX-certified 886EX stainless steel hose reel is a robust reel designed to accommodate high-capacity hoses for heavy-duty industrial use. It is specifically developed for environments where maximum hygiene standards and high corrosion resistance are required.
The stainless steel 886EX hose reel is approved for use in ATEX Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, Equipment Group II, Category 2GD.
The acid-resistant 886EX hose reel is designed for highly aggressive environments such as offshore production facilities with high salt content in the air, swimming pools and spa environments with high chlorine exposure, or other demanding applications where standard stainless steel (AISI 304 - SS 2333) may be exposed to corrosion risks.
For these applications, the 886EX model is available with all exposed components manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 316 - SS 2343) and chemically resistant composite materials.
Approved for installation in ATEX Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 according to ATEX 2014/34/EU, Equipment Category 2GD, Gas Group IIB.
